Re: Just a few hours left now

I am very glad I stumbled upon this game and this community all those years ago.
I loved running experimental teams, being the underdogs, being in the top flight, and even starting again and working my way up.
Thanks Cygnus and everyone else who made this place a great place to be.

Re: Fantasy Premier League

Did you have a team in GW1? If not, you spend all season trying to overturn the 60-90 points we each earned last week.

Not impossible, but harder than if you'd seen this earlier.

Either way - good luck, have fun!

Fantasy Premier League

New season started today (although games are a month away still) so if anyone wants to join me, I can set up a QM league for us to compete in. Feel free to do a "Set and Forget" team if you're unlikely to stick with the game all season, but personally I get pretty hooked and will probably ...

Re: QM future

Congrats on fatherhood, dude. I understand your decision and I look forward to future updates on QM2 or something similar. That said, it is once again a very sad day to see this project coming to an end. It was hard to find the time to check in daily and compete at the level I used to, so I imagine ...

Re: App?

There was talk of it a few years ago, but I don't think anyone here knows how to make it happen. I'd certainly get an Android app if it existed, but it's not like the site makes profit, so it is unlikely that Cygnus will be able to expand to devices.

Re: Loan Agreement between Crewe Cuts & Plymouth Catchers

Okay, I have made bids of 4,000, 5,000, 6,000, and 6,500 on the 4 Catchers players over 17.
I should be expecting a bid on a player of mine for 103,000 G, right? (21.5k for my bids, 75k up-front payment, and 6.5k development grant)

Re: Loan Agreement between Crewe Cuts & Plymouth Catchers

I'm surprised the Cuts win anything. I haven't bought or sold anyone yet, haven't built a single part of the academy, and am half-assing the training. I don't even use my spreadsheet like I used to! Although I have already added the 2nd tier, and have 12,000 seats in my stadium, so that's neat! Dari...
