Youth Players

Postby Zenthaar » Mon Aug 29, 2016 1:45 pm

I was wondering, how do I acquire really good youth players? Like those seventeen year olds whose averages are around 60-70. I've seen a few in the tradelist, but I'd like to know how I can acquire them on my own. I own all of the academy upgrades (except for the dragon, which I had for a while but got rid of recently); should I be funneling money into scouting? I thought that that just increased the chance of getting youths, not necessarily their quality.

I suppose a related question is, now that I'm in the silver league (and hoping to eventually make it to Honor), how do I get the really good players that all of the top teams have? Is my only option to scrap my current team full of oldies and replacing it with decent young players, and having them play in every league and friendly match to maximize training?

Thank you for reading this!

Good academy is the quality factor. Investing in scouting is the next step, because it becomes quantity and then you'll get quality. When they reach 17 loan em or make them play friendlies.

Yeah, a lot of the top tier players you see were around 60 avg at age 17, and were then loaned for several seasons to lower leagues where they played 4 matches a day. Your other option is to make huge offers to teams that have more than 7 players and see if anyone will sell.
