First trade of the season

We are happy to welcome José María Romaña in Ayr.
The 23 year old Argentinian nationalchaser will train to become a seeker.
With a cost of 38k he is a real good trade for us and hopefully a player who will be ready in two seasons to challenge Albert Gallais.

Unexpected Gold League title

Our 11th anniversary bring us the spirit to play the best season of our club histiory.
With a great seasonfinish we finish up at first place and take the Gold league Trophy with us into Honour League.

" It was an very unexpected success in a strong league. We never thought about promotion when we went into the season, but with every game we start more and more to believe in our chances." told our euphoric Captain Filippa Pesci.
The Moment when she yank the Trophy was a moment to remember for the bench player, who hasn´t get an appearance.
Important for this succes was the performance of Adele Morvan who becomes best Gold League Keeper with over 52% Saves and the strong performance of our leading chaser Rainer Kurth and the effective Crosby Eaton. "The Commodore" Kurth lead our Chaserline to become a defensive strong but also very cold scoring attacking line, while "the Valeyard" brings in unknown scoring qualitys.

We say Thank you to the following Players for winning the title.
Seekers Albert Gallais and Jose Maria Romana, Beater: Nicole Matthews and Baron Boyle. Chaser Rainer Kurth, Crosby Eaton and Kerry Mahmood, Keeper Adele Morvan and at last from the bench TeamCaptain Filippa Pesci.

Into our first Honour leagueseason we will start with the target to stay in the League. We will try to keep the spirit from the last season and play with all euphoric to win our games. We quit to buy new players but like to welcome Seeker talent Malna Ujvideki from the Manchester Legionaires, who joined us last season.
At first our adventure starts against the Redditch redrums, before we play our first Homematch against the Badgers.
Lets see what we can reach. Go Victorys.

:WC3rd: The Victorys win the small final and reach third place at the CWC. :WC3rd:

The Commodore Rainer Kurth made it happen with 72% goal%, 37 Interceptions and 18 goals while Adele Morvan wins the keeper duell with 49% Saves against 45% Saves and made the saves we need to stay in the match. (38 of 77) (Oponnent keeper 30 of 67)
But finally it was again our Seeker Albert Gallais who wins the close match against the young Seeker Kamil Ahmad.
Fans shout out loud the names of our players and Manager Saizewa spends free butterbeer for all Fans at the Firth of Clyde Yard.
Finally we will make one of the biggest partys to celebrate the Biggest success of our young History.

S49

The first season we play weaker then the season before since a couple of seasons.
After a strong 4th place we play a decent season and will reach a midfieldplace.
A big reason of the weaker season was the weaker form of Seeker Albert Gallais.
" The Seeker is our most important position. Last season he has won most of the close matches. This season he has just a normal rate, which is one reason for our lost success.", told Manager Saizewa.

Another reason could be the slightly weaker Goal% of our Chasers, who just play well as interceptors.
Finally we are very happy with the development of Nicole Matthews. The Beater reaches 50% Hit percentage and reaches the Top Ten of most Bludger Hits at M 29.
Also baron Boyle was slightly better then last season.

For the upcoming season we have made this season a new record Trade.
We buy Benjamin Da costa for 130k plus our youthplayers Trix Saunders and Emeline Probert.
The french Player will be trained as Keeper and will follow Adele Morvan around the next seasons.

We will also recall Max mcKay and Bradly Levy which could bring in a new impulse.
Also on loan are
At last we say goodbye to youthplayer Kate Knill. She joins the Kingston Mariners for 12k and shows the success of our Academy.

Next season we hope to play a stronger season again and reach the Top six again.

S 50

The anniversary Season ends with a strong 4th Place for the Victorys and a new season record.
But also in other facts it was a very successful season with many milestones for our club.

At first we can honour our great Beater Nicole Matthews who becomes our first 90 Avg Player.
At second we make our record Transfer sell. Max McKay joined the Huskies for something around 142k (117k plus Forrest Sinclair who we rate to 25k). we buyed him for low 14924G and payed around 40k for the loan, which makes a profit around of 88k.
At third we win our first League Leader Awards. Both was awarded to Albert Gallais.
At last the first Player of our Club has won a Nations Cup Medal. Well Done Baron Boyle for win silver with Ireland.

Also we can be very proud to have send 5 Players to the Nations Cup played in USA.
benjamin da Costa make his debut for France, playing one Game against Japan.
Adele Morvan takes over the keeper role and played 5 games for France.
Also for France plays Seeker Albert Gallais who played all 6 matches.
The loaned Seeker Málna Újvidéki plays her first time for Hungary and played 5 Games.
Rainer "the Commodore" Kurth reaches 4th Place with Germany. The Chaser looks very strong and played most time with over 50% with topstats of 59% against Australia in the quarter and worldclass 63% by 20 Goals against Wales in the small final, where he scores 2nd most Goals of the game and was clearly the most effective Chaser at the field. He make 9 games for Germany.
Baron Boyle makes his debut for Ireland and won Silver. He played 9 Times for his Team.

Also we have some movements in our Academy. Our own regen Trista Mills leave us for 12k to London Manico. But we welcome Des Devlin and Carter Harvey who joined our academy via Tradelist

For next season we have again big targets.
We like to win more then 40 Games and we like to attack the Top three, while we want reach min a place under the top six.

This season we are very happy with our Chaserline. Eaton has make a big development and reaches 6th place at Goal %.
Kurth and Mahmood played also a strong season with no weakpoints.
with Da costa who plays Keeper we might see Adele Morvan leave. Both play at the same Level and be midfield Keepers in the league, but Da costa is much younger then Morvan and is a future player for our team.
While Matthews stay in the Midfield it´s only Boyle who plays under his talent.
Best Player of the Season is Albert Gallais, as Best Seeker of the Season and as Key Player in most of our games.

New Team Captain and a new record Trade.

The Victorys top again their record Trade and so we welcome our new Beaterstar Dominique Barclay.
Image

Barclay joins us finally for 176k as free Agent.
She will replace Baron Boyle and build a strong scottish Duett with Nicole Matthews.
With hundreds of Fans waiting at Firth of Clyde Yard for her arrival it was Headcoach Jamiro who trys to calm down the expectations of all Fans.

" Barclay will be a Key Player in future and i´m very happy to have her in my Team now, but at first we need to gave her time to settle in Ayr. She hasn´t a nice time at last and was now out of training as Free Agent. She needs now much work to come in form for this Level and she needs time to build up her self believe again."

Barclay herself was very stirred by the warm welcome of the fans and the nice introduction by the team.
With much proudness she covers her new Number 7 jersey and fly some rounds around the Field, before she shoot a Bludger through the middle ring.
Back on earth she joined the team who say goodbye to Team Captain Filippa Pesci. Pesci never played a big role at the field, but with her charisma she was 8 season a good captain and an important part for our team.
Pesci joins the Blackpool Bandits for 10k. With an token gesture she present Rainer Kurth his new jersey with Number 77 and make him that way to the new Team Captain of the Team.

Under standing ovations of the Fans he dress it over his shirt and lead the Team in a team flight around the field and end it with a dive outside the stadium from the cliffs down to the Ocean.

The Commodore was a logic choice for the leadership.
The Ex Corgis player was the first Choice of Manager Saizewa and The Shadow planned the team around of Kurth who was the fixpoint of our scouting.
After that it was Kurth who lead the Team and his Chaserline with strong performances at the field and now he also develops much through his gained international Experience with Germany.

At Last we also like to welcome our new youth player Salena Ferguson. The 16 year old player joins our Academy for 3870 G.

Victorys reach the CWC Final

Fans of Ayr Victory shout out loud the Names of Team Captain Rainer Kurth and his Teammates, while the team joins a big party at the pub.
360:200 against the strong Isle of Man Harpoons.

" Equal what happens in the Final We will reach the clubs biggest Success. We can just be proud for our team", tells the Shadow, Manager Saizewa before she joins the party.

In a special match it was Rainer Kurth who made the game of his life. 13 Goals, 72% Goal% and over 70 % passes. The Commodore shows all his skills and lead the team as real Captain through the game, but also Keeper Benjamin da Costa shows his great quality by an awesome match with 57% saves.
With good stats from Nicole Matthews and Seeker Albert gallais it was also a strong Team performance, which let fans hope for a good final against the Fighting Hamsters who won high against the Catchers.

Abel Costello

" We are happy to welcome Abel Costello in Ayr.", told Manager Saizwea the surpsied fans at a pressconference.
"Abel who?" many fans ask themselves, when they watch her Manager staying infront of them.
The Speech is from Kingston Killers Reserve Seeker Abel Costello, who joins the Victorys for 25k.
Image
The 27 years old scotsman who will wear Number 91 jersey has great keyskills but just a low 83 Avg, which is the reason for his low reputation.
With an aging but also great playing Albert Gallais as Number one Seeker and the hungarian National Seeker Malna Ujvideki as possible replacement the Victorys normally seems to be well prepared at the Seeker position. But the Shadow is not following this.
" We haven´t searched active for a new seeker. In Fact we are prepared and i think malna will become an awesome replacement for Albert if he decides to retire.
But when Abel was placed at the list, it was immediatly definite that we make an offer for him. Abel is a perfect and inexpensive temporary solution for the time beetween Alberts Retirement and Malnas replacement. We can be sure to field a high quality Seeker for the worst Case that Albert can´t hold his quality or for the Case that Malna needs more time to develop her skills."

The fan reaction is slightly positive. With some doubts for the quality of the player (nobody has watched any game of him) and some doubts for the financial and sporty sense of the deal, many fans are happy to see another scottish Player joins the team and also trust the Management of The Shadow Saizewa, which was very successful over the past seasons.
Critics of the deal are also overshadowed by the upcoming final against the Fighting Hamsters. After a win against the Villains the fans are keen from their teem and can´t wait to watch the final, hoping that the team is able to handle the massive pressure of the game.
The fans themselves announce to create a big choreopgraphy and the fans will also make a big pageant to escort the team to the stadium.
What finally happens we will see in a couple of hours, when the biggest match of our history will begin.

Otherwise the club announce the signing of youth Talent Luther Kelly who joins the Academy for 3100G from the Kingston Killers, too.

:Honour1st: CWC Triumph :Honour1st:

A dream come true, when Albert Gallais catches the snitch infront of thousands of Victory fans in the sell-out Hamster-Park.
Victory wins the Cup!
" Yees! Albert you daredevil" shout Rainer Kurth before he reaches Albert and congratulate him for his glorius catch.
A weep for joy Nicole Matthews lies fast in the arms of her Beaterpartner Dominique Barclay and can´t get herself together.
While Crosby Eaton was so euphoric, that he nearly hit Albert Gallais from his broom.
manager Saizewa and her Coach Jaromiro was the first who storm the field, followed by many Victoryfans.
It was like the time stood still. Everybody lied in their arms and was encircled by the fans, who was lucky enough to get a ticket.
Everybody was shouting Alberts name, knowing that it was his performance who brings the win.
But then cames the moment of our Number 77. Team Captain Rainer "The Commodore" Kurth lead his team the steps up of a podium and then he raise the trophy
high in the air.

" It´s an unbelievable feeling.", told an euphoric Manager Saizewa, hours after the game. "we worked so hard for this day and had fight so hard against a strong fighting Fighting-Hamsterssquad, who made their Teamname all honour and now our players won and create this magic moment. Its awesome to see them now. I remember when they arrive as a bunch of young talents and grew up to famous Honour league stars. They deserve to get this trophy."

The Game itself was a hard fight beetween two strong performing teams.
Victorys play with a rarely seen attacking strategy against a defensive Fighting-Hamsters squad.
The fast and very wild attacks from the Victorys was answered by a wide awake defense which results into a tumultuous clash with small benefits for the Fighting-Hamsters at the field.
Many bad passes by the Victorys and good interceptions open the door for many counter.
The Victorys shows also a slightly more effective Beaterplay. Having a slightly lower same hit % and a handful hits less, the Beaters hit many Chasers, while the Fighting-Hamster beaters can just hit rarely the Chaserline of the Victory, but also it seems that they are concentrate their fire on the opossite Beaterpair.inally the Finally the Fighting-Hamsters shot 20 times more then the Victorys. But here it was Benjamin Da costa who keeps the Team with many saves into the game and make a big diffrence.
So it was a 480:470 lead for the Fighting Hamsters, when Albert spot the snitch. Loiusa Gillam shows great flying skills and really attacks him, but he use all his qualitys and win the Heads to Head untill he reach the snitch.

This players will remembered for all time.
Albert Gallais, Dominique Barclay, Nicole Matthews, Crosby Eaton, Rainer Kurth, Kerry Mahmood, and Benjamin Da costa.
Also Carol Cole played in quarter final match against the Phoenixes.

The Team also played a strong Honourleagueseaso and reach for the first time 40 wins. we have just 3 wins to less for the the championship and reach 5th place.

For the next season we plan to approve our last seasons success by reaching again 40 wins and atack the medalrankings.

Welcome Jillian Goldstein

It´sa joy to present Jillian Goldstein as new Player from Ayr Victory,
Image
The 21 Years old irish Girl joins as Free Agent for 167k and should become one player of our future Chaserline.
With an high Avg of 81 and awesome skills she has a huge potential to become the future starplayer of the Victorys.
" After our big success its just a dream to sign such an strong Talent", tolds a delighted Manager Saizewa.

Fans gave her a warm welcome at the club, being fascinated from her flamboyant look and her loose charakter.
Making some jokes with some students who try to flirt with her, she seems very imporessed by the attention she receives at her new club.

But finally it will be just a short stay at Ayr. As it was planned with her, she will be loaned out to get some matchpractice and become a finished player. So she will join honour league Team London Dynamo, where she will stay for two seasons.
A funny fortuity is that she plays her first Honourleaguematch against Ayr Victory, and fans rub their eyes when she plays in her first scene a strong one two three pass with exvictoryplayer Jose Maria Romana before she scored her first goal for a 10:0 lead.
Finally she shows some nerves in the game, but also she makes the most goals for London and shows her potential beside some weakpoints.

Another good news for the Victorys is. Abel Costello starts extrordinary.
Having a strong duelpercentage, he won us the game against the Bangtails, defending with 3 won duels the snitch when we was 70 points behind, while he had many chances to catch the snitch and when our chasers come back in snitch range he won 2 of three duells before he catches the snitch.
Many fans who ask for clublegend Albert Gallais seems to become silent after such impressive matches from Abel Costello.
