Englands Number One

Its not a title of our club but from now on the title of our new Keeper. It´s a great honour to gratulate Benton Palmer for his nomination for the National Team from England. He is now our first own national player who isn´t loaned from another club (Like our nationalplayers Martinha augusti (played now again for the Alchemists), Charlotte Foster and Joe Stevens).
He has to fight hard for his place and needs to win a head to head duell against Dudley Cox from London Dynamo to stay at Englands nationalteam.
Palmer is a little bid younger and has the better avg now but Cox has a better statistic. While Palmer has sometime behind without matchpraxis, he get better the last games so the stats will be exciting to compare when Palmer plays more games wih strong form and praxis.
But at the ends its equal, cause englands coach decides to gave Palmer a chance.

Team Captain Soleri leaves

Sad day for all Victory Fans. Fan favourite and team Captain Gianluigi Soleri leave us and joins Newcastle Huskies for 50000 G. The seeker struggles this season but was one of the toptalents of our club and we know that he will have a great future.
Keir: It was a hard decision. Gianluigi was our leader and an important part of our future. But also we have to admit that we can´t continue high with our expensive transferpoliticy and need to step back to invest in our infrastructure, which is to small at the moment to fund a topteam which we want to be."
Also Arina spoke that way: In the last seasons we only concentrate to get a topteam at the field and the team force his way in short time into bronze, while our infrastructure fell by the wayside. With the big profit out of the Soleri deal we have the chance to create a financial base which will be the foundation of our future success. Also nobody needs to be scared that we lose to much quality, cause we have a nice player as replacement, which will be announced soon."

After buying for 15k we made a profit of 35k with Soleri which is a new record transfer for our team.

With a big smile Arina and Keir could present the plan to finish our stadium Expansium by investing big parts from the Soleri Deal into our stadium.
So all people can look forward to next season when we welcome 32k people in our Stadium to visit our Games.

Also we announce that loanplayer Juan Becerril will take over Number 77 jersey and will be new Team Captain from Ayr Victory.

Zelda Turnbull replaces Soleri

Zelda Tunrbull, 23 year old scottish seeker join us as loanplayer from Swansea Alcemists.
Arina and Keir have the full confidence in zeldas qualitys and be sure that she is a strong replacement for Soleri. Also many fans are happy to see a new scottish player in our team.
Only one player is very sad. For O´Sullivan is now no free place in our team and for sure Arina is searching for a new team or a loan deal for him.

At the other hand we sell our youth Player Pompeo bronzine for 500 G to the Mifflins, from where i trades fast to he Harrogate Brammers.
Our first youth Player Dorian Shine returns as dealer player from the bangtails and Martha Sutton leave us as dealer player to Swansea Alchemists.

New Season S42

After reaching 4th place in our first bronze season we are very happy abut the quality of our team, but also thought long time about the powerles games at the end of the season.
But our new season starts with a big new achievement for our team. We completely rebuild with lots of magical work our old stadium Annuminas and be very proud to play tonight our first game at Firth of Clyde Yard, the new Home from Ayr Victory against Crewe Corsairs. 32000 people can visit now our matches and can encourage our ambitious scottish team when we try again to win promotion to silver league.

At sporty side we are hardly hit by the loss from Mexicos Superstar Juan Becerril. Our two games Team Captain leave us by getting recalled to Bristol Bangtails and will play in higher leagues from now on. As Team Captain he breaks the record of being the shortest Time Team Captain of our history.
At the financial side we are very happy with this deal. Making a small profit and having lasts eason an awesome chaser in our lineup was a good choice, also if we can´t replace him easily.
New Team Captain will be the retiring player Barnaby Ahmed, who is one of the famous honour League Beater from the last years and wins a place in our first lineup against Serena Robinson.

Arina and Keir are very happy with the team we can field this season, but also searching for some new players to strenghten up our team.
Season target is the next step into silver league, but also we see us as underdog in the promotion battle, losing our match against the strong BlackCats higher then we expect and palying against second placed and unbeaten Bath tonight. So we also look to develop our team with a watch at future seasons, to get nearer to honour league.

The New players this season are players we build up for the future of our team.
So we welcome the youth players Max McKay and Aaron Prichard at Ayr. Both join us as Free Agents and cost us some money. McKay, a player we scouted for a long time cost us 14924G and should play as chaser in future. We know its a risky deal from financial side, but we have big confidence that he can develop well to get a strong american player in future.
16 year old scottish talent Aaron Prichard costs 5948 G and should also play Chaser in future. The young talent looks ver talented and if we can work at his weakpoints he should get a nice player for us.
Knowing that our own Academy can´t produce good talents at the moment, we are depend on finding young talents at the tradelist, and of cause we are happy with the players we caught.

Everything new?

Fans rub their eyes when she visit the trainingsfield today. Where is our Headcoach Keir? And who is the young man who speaks to Captain Barnaby Ahmed?
And why did our players wear our classic jerseys again?

The answer is gaven some hours after the morningtraining session at the press room at Firth of Clyde Yard.
President Ruse speaks to the media and present the new Coach Jamiro Victorino Santana. The 32 years old ex chaser join us from Cadiz to start his coaching career in Ayr.
" Jamiro has convince us with his emotional and powerful charakter. He has a clear idea of playing quidditch and he surprised us by his knowledge about many player in england and he had good talkings with Arina about new players.", Ruse said, about his new Coach.

About Keir he also has only good things to say, but journalists know about the controversial beetween Ruse and Keir, about an rebuilding of the team. Ruse see in this step the chance to build up the financial situation and start o build up a team that could reach the honour league, while Keir don´t like to lose his strong nationalplayers and like more to buy some new expensive players to hold the strength of the team.
" We want to thank Keir. He did an fantastic Job at Ayr and was part of an very successful time. We wish him only the best and be sure that he will be finding a new club very soon." Ruse said.
Keir himself wasn´t seen around of Ayr today but the Maestro was seen in some stadiums in Australia, where he watch with his wife some trainingssessions and games from Italy and scotland. Also its possible that he join the Raven Academy from High Wycombe Aethersprites.

Jamiro himself likes to play a more aggressive Quidditch, with much interceptions and fast counter attacks, but also will take an eye at elegant combinations, to be unpredictable for oponnent defensive lines.
" I like to coach in a very communicative and familiar way. It´s important to trust our young players who has to play in a very high league for their age and gave them the time they need to develop before we talk again of high targets." Jamiro said about his plans.

After the presentation Arina speaks about the new future Ayr Team.
Holding the league this season by gaving the B Team much match pactice against all team from the top of the league and the midfieldteams, by making sure that we play against all teams who fight each other woth the same Victory team, we will plan with a relegation next season, but hope that our new players be ready then to play a strong stee season and coming back very soon. Fans react in complete disbelief when they heard about selling the topplayers like new scottish nationalplayer Randolph Blackburn or englands National Keeper Benton Palmer, but also the fans understand the benefit of having much money, which will be reinvested in a better academy and maybe a five Horned Dragon and should bring us longtime success.
Jamiro himself likes the strategy very much and sees a nice chance to build up a team with his own suggestions and also the fans feel it was the right point to bring a new Headcoach in, who will bring in new impulse to the team.

We all are excited now to see what the future brings and hope that the could build up a strong new team.

Big Thank You to the Alchemists

With the leaving of our Loanstar Joe Stevens the Parent/Feederagreement ends, but we want say a big thank you to cygnus-Flamel and the Swansea Alchemists. The Deal gave us a big financial and a sportyquality boost and we are happy to host great players which gave us the quality to win the Steel Division championstitle.
Hopefully Joe Stevens will play well in Honourleague and we wish the Alchemists and Stevens best luck.

The new A-Team

We put in much work to find a strong talented team and after some bad decisions, we hope now that we have build up a team, that could bring us a great success in future seasons.

Long time plans with Director Arina Evelina Saizewa and headcoach Jamiro in the lead should work well and both have the full confidence of Ruse.

But lets take a look at the squad.

Our Keeper:
Image
There we plan with Adele Morvan as number one. The 24 year old french keeper has nearly full key stats and was a wishplayer from Arina, who saw in the exchaser a perfect keeper talent. After long training we are happy that Adele has settled with her new position.

The chasers:
ImageImageImage
Our chaserline is lead by german chaser Rainer "The Commodore" Kurth (middle of the picture). Kurth joined us from the Cardiff Corgis. Around him we try to build up a team. Kurth could also become a future teamcaptain and is at the moment the high charismatic player at the field.
Beneath him we plan with northern ireland talent Crosby "The Valeyard" Eaton (Left) and Kerry Mahmood (r.), as defensive Chaser. The Ex Keeper Talent Mahmood shown good talents as chaser, while the Valeyard has strong beaterqualitys. As strong and aggressive Chaser should Eaton bring in some harshness in our game.

The Beaters
Image Image

Our beater duo will be composed of the only scottish player in our future starting line Nicole Matthews and the irish talent Baron Boyle. While Boyle is maybe the stronger player at the moment, Matthews could become the fanfavourite of our team. Matthews joined us buy our ex parent club Swansea Alchemists, has played at the Raven Academy from sisterclub Hygh Wycombe and is beneath her scottish origin also a very fan near and friendly woman, which always have a smile and some words for her fans.
Both will need some work but shown good talent to be a dangerous duett for our oponnents.

Our seeker
Image
At last we are happy to get Albert Gallais. The most expensive player in our squad is also the most controversialplayer in our team. With strong qualitys which nobody likes to deny him, he is the star in our team, but as player from our missed rival Manchester Gryphons he also have to work hard if he likes to win the heart of our fans and if he struggles he will feel much more pressure then the rest of our team.
Albert himself hope that the fans gave him a chance beneath the old rivalry with his ex club, but also he miss the gryphons and feel sad to see them go out of the game.
As seeker he has beaten sisterclubseeker Gertrude Johnson in his direct duels last season which impressed not only Arina and shown his qualitys and if he plays that way again he could become a legendary Victoryplayer.

Bench
ImageImageImageImage
At last we like to take a look at our bench, which we like to build up for future times.
At first we are happy to keep one player from our beginnings. As surprising second Keeper we nominate "The Oncoming Storm" Selenna Brennan. The Ex Chaser should show her great flyingskills from now on as keeper and the number seven should keep the spirit from our last seasons success in our team. Brennan feels happy to stay in Ayr equal if she plays or not. She feel fine in Ayr and enjoys to be the most beloved player by the fans.
As reserve chaser we plan with max McKay. The Us boy is near to the first line and has to fight against The Valeyard to win a place in the starting lineup. Maybe he is more talented, but also he struggles more at his broom.
At last we have youth player Aaron Pritchard who could become maybe a chaser, but has to work very hard at his dexterity to become a higherleagueplayer.

With new teamcaptain and completely transfer mistake Justine Cook we don´t plan anymore.
The aged chaser has cost more then 20k and is a good leader for our young chasers, but with the decision to build up a complete new team she hasn´t a future in Ayr and is searching a new team.

Goodby we have to say to many great players, like Randolph Blackburn, Bernice Cole (who is the first player which not joins us via loan which reach reaches honoueleague) and the retiring ex teamcaptain Barnaby Ahmed.

At the end we are very happy with our new team. Which also suggest their future quality. We are 14th in Bronze with five wins and could maybe come back at the relegationbattle with only one game behind the Bullets and the Fireballs.

*plays sad violin music*
Ew why was my signature so cheesy?

Really, song lyrics? Yeesh, I haven't left all of my cringiness behind. I promise, it's mostly gone now.

I should have at least quoted a less dramatic song.

New Team Captain

Is the Captain crisis over now?
Many fans ask what happens to the proud charge to lead the Victorys at the field, after a row of shorttime Team Captains, since two Day Captain Juan Becerril. Why didn´t any Team Captain stay at our club for longer time? Is our Number 77 coursed? We will see if our new Team Captain can stay for longer.
After the leave from Ex Team Captain Justine Cook who joined Lodon Arsenal for 7501 G and was our biggest flop with a buy in of 20k, we proudly welcome our future Reserve Seeker and new Number 77 Filippa Pesci.
Image
The 20 year old italian Seeker join us for 9055G from the Bury Shakers. Playing Beater at the Shakers youth team it will take some days till she get practice at the seeker position, but Arina and Jamiro be sure, that she will show us great games when we need her at the field. Also she is four years younger as Albert gallais and could take over his position later.
Pesci herself is very proud to get that big responsibility at her new Club and her first team where she has a professional contract, but also show her big confidence to make the job.
" I don´t know how i convince our Coach to gave me that responsibility to lead our new grouped Team, but i will do everything to pay back his believe in my abilitis and i hope that i can help my teammates to hold the league." she told us, when we meet her after the trainingsession.
" At the moment it isn´t an easy situation. We are a young team, that need to develop and build up a good teamwork, while we staying with one leg in the lower league. We know that the Board around of Ruse has planned with the risk of a relegation, and we feel Jamiros trust in our abilitys, but it isn`t easy to get trust to your teammates, when to loose that many games. I will try to learn more about them, and hope that we can hold our selfbelieve high with much talking beetween our players, so we can play a strong next season".

Fans be very unhappy about the decision to risk all, but many fans be faithful. For a club which always went forward in the clubhistory it´s a hard new experience to go down, but it also should make us stronger, when we know that we stand also in bad times together.

Season report

A strong season ends. We fiished as 4th with a very unlikely chance of reaching thirdplace if the Rovers lost both of there games.
At the CWC we reach Round of Best 32. Starting with a win at First of Clyde Yard against the Portsmouth Nauticals from 6th league with 560:100.
Second Round we played again against a 6th League Club. This time we win against the York Merlins with 90:930.
In Round 3 we have to face our first better oponnent. At our stadium we welcome the Bronze team Swansea Snorkack which we beat 680:590.
In the Round of Best 32 teams our luck finds an end. Playing against Gold league Team Kirkwall Kirkwallers we lost at First of Clyde Yard with 330:540.
Finally we could be happy to go that far with our young team and it gave us confidence that our strategy starts to work very well.

In this season we also welcome a new player.
Image
For 38203G joins Bradley Levy our Squad as Free Agent at the last Seasonstart. The 21 year old Beater will be trained as Seeker where he can be the follower of Albert Gallais or could be sold again for some profit.

Goodbye we have to say to many of our youth players. We wish our own youth players Edward Ellis (802G), Sylwester Dziurawiec (851G) and Gloria Gregory (851G) only the best but we know that they aren´t the most talented players and they had the problem that we didn´t invest much in our youth.
Also we sell Aaron Prichard to Leicester QC for 8001G and wish him good luck there. The taented Scottish Chaser was chanceless at our team and search a new chance at another club.

At Last we are happy to Announce the finished building of our new Youth Academy Annuminas, which is named after our old stadium. With nearly full Academy Upgrades it´s the next step at our way to become a famous Quidditch Team.
With this big investment in our youth we hope to develop from now on our own talents at a high Level and make sure that our Team will have always in future a strong talented Team.

Next Season our target is reaching promotion and develop our team b working on a new trainingsplan. Financially we are extremely good positioned so we are confident to have a great future.
