Farewell, Speedy!

It's a sad day for Quidditch Manager. You have been one of the most consistently active users, had quickly mastered the game and were always helping to make Quidditch Manager better.

Your contribution to the community has been immeasureable. Your statistics and history breakdowns, suggestions and help with other users' questions has helped the game become what it is today.

I understand your decision to at least take a break, since the game is "the same old" for quite a while now.

I wish you all the best and don't forget to drop by the forums from time to time to check on us ;)

Whenever there is a major change to the game, I will make sure to shoot you an e-mail!

Best,
Cygnus

Au revoir, mon ami.

I really looked up to your teams as an example to follow, and I'm trying my best (without success it appears) to replicate this with the Lagavulin.

We're also going to miss the life you gave the forum, I don't think anyone can replicate that.

The game will instantly become a better place when/if you return.

Don't get too lonely up there in Canada, eh?

Speeeeeeeeeeeeeedy!!! I have to say i saw this coming. It's been a while since any of us #007s have been as active as when we first started.

Thanks for always being a thorn in my team's side and earning all the trophies i haven't been able to.
Thanks for the excellent stats which improved the forum.
Thanks for the thoughtful posts and making the game a more lively place.

Well done, well played, and hope to see you around again in a long time when we have all grown and changed.

Cheers mate. It was great to have you around, and I'll miss seeing your posts.
Best of luck in whatever you've decided to focus on, and i hope the people who surround you IRL appreciate your presence as much as we do here.

Your friend,
Sokolov

Aw, man! :(

It's been great having you around. You're a QM veteran, and the site loses a great player.

It's going to be weird not checking up on QM, huh?

Good bye speedy.

Its sad to see you go.
I always enjoy to play against your teams, who was always around the top Leagues, since i started to play the game and esspecially the Dursleys are one of my favourite teams in the game.
Also it was a great to read your stats and forum stuff.
Would be cool if you return again.
All the best for everything you plan to do.

Hey guys, how's it going?!

I miss this place. Just stopped by to make sure the game was still going strong. Sad to hear about Sokolov taking a break and Cygnus' team deletions.
I'd like to come back one day. Much like Sokolov, I can't do the 8 hours a day I'd like to, but maybe if I only had one team... (cries of "madness!" and gasps fill the room. One lady in the back row faints).

I got married in January and will be back at uni to study Education from September (not yet confirmed, but I am hopeful). I still occasionally play Pokémon Go, if you can believe it! Lv35 with nearly all of Gen II complete (Completed Gen I in January). These days I spend my free time working through my PS3 backlog (Assassin's Creed franchise right now) so I can feel less guilty about upgrading to PS4 when The Last of Us 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2 are released. Just bought (and filled) a 1TB HDD for the PS3, so all my PS+ games are available whenever I feel like any of them. So once the backlog and/or Pokémon Go cease to amuse me, I hope I find my way back here.

My trophy is still on display on my mantelpiece. I have no intention of removing it. One day I'll tell my kids that in lieu of actual achievements, I earned a thrift-store trophy from their mother when I beat a handful of Harry Potter enthusiasts at an online Quidditch Management cup competition (once). That and my shiny Playstation platinums more than make up for my inability to run, jump, swim, or kick...right?

Good luck winning the league you're in this season! Peace.

For a moment I thought you were coming back and I was super happy, but it was more of a what's up.

Hope to see you return one day! Enjoy life without having to worry about beating the drop!

I see someone has created a new team called the Dundee Mifflins.

Weird. Didn't think it was that catchy a name. Hopefully it's not someone pretending to be me, and more an honest coincidence of pun-naming and Office (US)-watching.
