My clubs at the top end of Honour are charging 12 or 13 per Matchday and pulling in 90%. I don't know how high 32k can charge and still fill up, but I think it would be below 20

I don't think I ever went below 50% attendance on 5mS tickets... Am also one of the fastest builders of a full stadium.
Just run a basic spreadsheet for calculations :D

Just an update

At 5ms the Mayrs, bartenders and sheepshaggers were all at 10-30% attendance for almost a season! They're all working their way back up to 70-90% now.

I've made these points before, but I still stand by them and I'm happy to save people money, so here goes:

Regardless of stadium capacity, ticket price should be set to 90% where possible, except for when that setting would require tickets to each be 7mS or lower.
In that case, ticket price should be as close as possible to the respective percent value over 10. For example, if your options were the following, the middle would be the ideal choice:

80% at 2mS
70% at 3mS
60% at 4mS
50% at 5mS <------ IDEAL
40% at 6mS
30% at 7mS

50%/10 = 5.
Bingo.

NB: Capacity may sometimes jump by 20%. Otherwise, it should be a pretty uniform link between price and capacity [up by 1mS, down by 10%]

I made the above point because at 10-30% capacity, 5mS was not the ideal choice.

If 5mS gets you 10%, 4mS would be 20%, 3mS would be 30%. Do that one.
If 5mS gets you 30%, 4mS would be 40%. Do that one.
If 5mS gets you 90%, 6mS would be 80%, 7mS would be 70%. Do that one.

For the reasoning behind it, simply multiply the numbers.

5 x 10 = 50
4 x 20 = 80
3 x 30 = 90 <-- Winner

5 x 30 = 150
4 x 40 = 160 <-- Winner

5 x 90 = 450
6 x 80 = 480
7 x 70 = 490 <-- Winner

(As you get closer, it comes to a difference of 10mS per 100 seats, but for a 32k stadium, over 30 matchdays every season, that sure adds up!

I don't think I ever expanded my stadium so much that ticket prices went below 10ms, it's funny to see such low prices because people do.

If I remember correctly, you bring in more overall with higher capacity - so it's always best to expand rapidly (by the current system).

2,000 seats might get you 100% at 15mS, but 4,000 would get 100% at 8mS (for example).

But you might forego other things. Like buying as many new players and winning more matches. So the overall cost/benefit is more than just what you make from ticket prices. It's something we have not yet done but I would be interested in trying to do a comparison between just going for stadium until you have 32,000 seats and going for a holistic approach of buying players and training upgrades. If I have time I might do it next season

Because so far the comparison seems to have been just this number of seats V that number of seats in isolation of what spending money on other things does.

That's kinda what I was doing with my 4 teams, The Bartenders actually were the ones who went straight for the stadium at all costs (Loans).

That's when I realized that a 12k stadium will pay for itself quickly, a 32k will pay for itself slowly at first, but at the lower tiers the better players you can buy aren't much better than the ones you have, and I'd rather sit at a low tier for a while with a 32k stadium, then climb the ladder, making 32k seat money all the way up.
