Just a few questions from a new manager

Postby dohake » Sat Oct 10, 2015 5:00 pm

Hello everyone!

Just had a couple questions about the game:

What skills are needed for every position? What skills aren't needed?

How about training? What should I be training my players first when I start out on QM?

Is there a good strategy for matches that i should use when playing opponents? Attacking? Defending?

Should I take out a loan to get better players? Or is it too early for a loan?

Thanks in advance.

For the Attributes there are lot´s of opinions under tips and Tricks Key attributes. I think lot´s of more opinions from more experience managers you find also at tips and tricks.

The training i watch most times on dex (Important for every position) and watch then which attributes my players have to improve them very fast and train there weakpoints.
I think a loan helps you very much at the beginning.
I made a parent/feeder agreement with the victorys and my team benefits a lot in all areas, so i´m strong enough to play for the top 5 in iron, after only one season after my start at the game.
About strategys i don´t know. I play often against weaker chaserlines with attacking or control strategy. and against stronger chaserlines with defensive or contain.
If you play defensive i think the pressure is little more on your seeker. and play attacking your chasers ae little more important.

All of this stuff has been discussed, my suggestion is to dig up some old threads and do some reading :)

Seekers: Speed,Agility,Strength,Dexterity,Alertness,Balance Don´t need: Morale,Accuracy,Stamina

Keepers: Speed,Agility,Dexterity,Alertness,Balance Don´t need:Morale,Accuracy,Stamina,Strength

Chasers:Speed,Agility,Strength,Dexterity,Alertness,Balance,Stamina,Accuracy Don´t need:Morale

key stats (in my opinion): agility, dexterity, alertness, balance, accuracy

speed is important, but it does not need to be maximized same to stamina and strength.

Beaters:Speed,Agility,Strength,Dexterity,Alertness,Balance,Stamina,Accuracy Don´t need:Morale

key stats (in my opinion): agility, strength, dexterity, alertness, balance, accuracy

Charisma is important for your team´s popularity which is important for your team´s revenue through ticket sales

Chasers and Beaters need all the stats in my opinion, that´s up to each manager to choose which stats are more important to him

I think the best training to start is "Passing", because it is pretty well-balanced and focus in 2 key stats in the 2 most important positions (beaters and chasers).

Is there a good strategy for matches that i should use when playing opponents? Attacking? Defending?

Try different strategies, for instance, you lost 2 times against an opponent that is not much stronger than you, try a different strategy to see if it results.

Should I take out a loan to get better players? Or is it too early for a loan?

If you have financial conditions for the loan, ask for it and buy the players. Still, you can go "Greece mode" because upgrades are the only thing you lose with negative money.

Actually i´m not 100% sure, cygnus can confirm it. I think if you attempt to sign a new contract it will appear the insufficient funds warning.

This is actually not true, the team's funds are displayed in the contract negotiation screen, but negative funds do not prevent giving the player a new contract.
