I like that WizYum Energy Berries is sponsoring this years cup. I think the championship team should receive a lifetime supply in addition to their galleon winnings.

I think that the prizes are a Little low, i mean, you are winning an event that happens only one time every four season and that arises a lot of hype and what you earn is enough money to buy a decent player, i think that the winner deserves better.

Not enough?! What about the fame, the glory, the pride of winning the most prestigious BQA event?? Is that not worth more than any amount of galleons can buy???

I was thinking that ticket prices were a little off, but I think 15,000 G is a good amount as a top prize.

In terms of tickets, not being in the cup allows me to take 90-95% of 800 G (32,000 seats x 5mS = 1,600 G....

Wait. Why do friendlies only bring in 800 G as a maximum, if they are selling seats at 5mS each? Are they actually selling for 2.5mS and I'm just mistaken - or is it a bug?

Back to my point:

50% of 7mS is less than 90% of 5mS, so when clubs are still in the World Cup, they run the risk of making less money than if they dropped out.
Unless I'm wrong about the 5mS thing. I could've sworn it was 5mS.....

Yeah, nothing wrong with the prizes but the ticket prices are definitely low. The price should be about 14ms or at the very least go up each round or something because tickets to the final at half the price of an average Honour league match is seems really silly. Realistically you should be able to sell tickets for 50ms and sell out for the final given it's a once every 4 years event and for the fans of the clubs in the final maybe even once in a lifetime.

The background image for /cup.php is cool. There are a lot of snitches though.
Should make things easier for the less alert seekers out there...
