Thanks Australia! Thanks Australians! You gave me hope when everything seemed lost, when it seemed that the status quo would prevail Australia defeated the most powerful quidditch nation and in a very dominant fashion.

Congrats Australia!

THE US BEAT GERMANY, BUT THANKS ANYWAY FOR THE REVENGE AUSTRALIA!
Ew why was my signature so cheesy?

Really, song lyrics? Yeesh, I haven't left all of my cringiness behind. I promise, it's mostly gone now.

I should have at least quoted a less dramatic song.

Nice job, Australia!

I had fun following this tournament. The outcome was very different from what we were expecting and we saw our players compete on a different level in unusual lineups.

Let's see when we will have the next Nations Cup. Maybe in 3 seasons and then every second season. We'll have to see how many nations will be present by then! I'm sure Russia, China and India will adhere soon :)

x2

Interesting seeing my Villains players Monica Hussain (Northern Ireland) and Gloria Findlay (Wales) play at this level. Unfortunately both got eliminated in Round of 16. Curiously Miriam Odonnell only played for Scotland in Quarters when they lost for England (not quite the debut she was hoping for).

Some upsets, great games and a surprising winner. Look forward to the next edition where I hope to see Portugal with a better perfomance.

Oh wow, what a win! I just told Joel the result and he was confused as to how they even made it to the final.

Makes up for me losing gold league haha
