Unlucky Islanders loss by 30 Points against a strong Killerssquad.
Good luck to all who survived and reached the final rounds.

Catchers and Killers is definitely the choice semi final of the two, but I think it would be great if the Weavers could continue their run.

I prefer the opposite, although no intervention is ideal. There is more excitement and pressure if two managers are competing, with neither guaranteed a place in the next round. Different styles, different social presences. Generally better, in my opinion. I get that it will come across as hypocritical for me to say this, having gotten to try being both teams in a final, or 4 clubs in the same league, but really those were less pressure and fun than they could have been.

I was joking because my teams (Hamsters and Canadiens) drew each other, and I was hoping the Canadiens would draw a weaker team.

Like, the Weavers beating the Hood is not the problem - THAT is the type of upset that's fine.

But take a look at the next Round: The two best Teams are playing in one Semifinal while a weak Honour Team and an underdog Gold Team are playing in the other.

In other words: We got the dreaded "Final before the Final".

Let's just hope that the Catchers don't randomly lose in the Finals, lol.

RNG is just being nice to me because last round it gave me an awful draw (me vs me, no bueno), so this round I get a good one. Although I do need to watch out, Weavers knocked off the second best team in Honor.

Hamsters with back to back finals. Maybe this time around they will win?

Yesterday I lost to the catchers in the league and beat them in the cup. Yet I beat the hamsters in the league and have them next in the cup. Oh dear.

Wow, I feel so torn for Dario/the Catchers, he just can't seem to get a break and win the CWC, even when he is dominating the League!

Good luck to both of you in the finals.

Illuminati?

But we've had some good games this season. Maybe Bossman would be willing to live broadcast this one on the forum? That would be intense!

I figure Dario must have forgotten/decided that he didn't care about the 3rd Place Match.

A shame!

Nevertheless, congrats to the Weavers!

normally, I prepare the games right away after day change, the 3rd place match was added during the day of the match, so I only realize that has been a 3rd place after it was played.
