Clubs are listed from the strongest to the weakest at the start of a new career. A club's rating decides its squad quality, budget and gate, and it moves as the seasons pass, so the order changes as clubs win trophies.

League format
The Nordic League is a single division with 13 clubs: every club meets every other club twice, once at home and once away. That gives every club 24 league matches, played over 26 matchdays in weeks 8 to 37 of the 52-week season, with a bye for one club each matchday because the number of clubs is odd. The league takes a break of 4 weeks at the halfway point.
The club with the best record after the last matchday is the league champion.
The table is sorted by wins first, then point difference, then points scored, then Snitches caught. There is no promotion or relegation: every club stays in its league and plays the same competition each season.
Cups and international places
League results decide who goes to the big tournaments. From the Nordic League the game sends 1 place in the 16-club European Cup and 1 place in the 32-club Champions League.
Berths go to the clubs with the best record in the last three campaigns: first by titles won (every title counts equally, whichever season it was won in), then by combined league wins, then by how recently the club won a title. The Champions League looks at the last five campaigns the same way, and 6 of its 32 places are wildcards for the latest Champions League winner and the latest winners of the European Cup and the continental cups. Read the full rules on the competitions page.
Youth and talent
The league's annual youth intake comes from Durmstrang. Graduates are aged 16 to 18 and take their nationality from the academy league; Durmstrang is shared with the German League, Balkan League and Liechtenstein League, whose clubs compete for the same graduates. The first intake opens in the second season of a career. The beginner's guide explains how to sign graduates, transfers and contracts.
